April, 2009 - RB McGrath's massive abstract painting "Controlled Chaos" installed in the new multi-million dollar Esther D. Nixon Library, Jacksonville, Arkansas, as part of the Central Arkansas Library Systems Public Collection.

July 19, 2009 - Launch of new art book  ICON - The Art of RB McGrath.  Written in collaboration with Michael E. Riffel, Author of Anthology of Friends.  ICON is a 72 page, 8 x 10, full color hardbound exhibition of paintings from the studio of RB McGrath and from works in private and coporate collections.  Expert overviews by Painters, Filmmakers, Photographers and Mixed-media artists from around the world.  Now available from Blurb Publishing.

December 5, 2009 - ICON, The Blessed Virgin of Easter Cove installed in the collection of Dr. Alan and Paula Storeygard, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  Four feet wide and stretching to a massive eight feet high, ICON has gained worldwide attention as "Cubism with a vengence."  The work is featured in the new book ICON The Art of RB McGrath, now available through Blurb Publishing.  The painting was re-stretched by Jay Hudson Gallery of Jacksonville, Arkansas and installed by the Artist at the Storeygard estate.  A champagne toast followed.
